Welcome to 2019. Hope you’re off to a great start for this new year, I know I am. I ended last year on a high note by signing with a new agency Media Artists Group and I’m starting this year on a high note as well.
I just finished shooting my first gig for the year. I played a hero wife for a Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial. The commercial is advertising their new healthcare app and how easy it is to use. I had three different scenes to shoot so it was a long day out in Long Beach but it was so much fun. Everyone on set was amazing to work with. The 1st AD did a great job keeping everyone’s energy up by continuously cracking jokes and making us laugh.
The last scene of the day was my favorite. It was exciting driving around a Long Beach neighborhood being escorted by a police officer with a camera rigged to it. My co-star and I couldn’t help nodding and waving to the other drivers passing by.
I’m so glad I’m starting off 2019 with a bang. This month has been very productive with auditions and bookings. I hope this month sets the tone for the rest of the year. I look forward to what the rest of the year will bring.
