I’m so excited because a few months ago I shot a commercial for the American Red Cross and it finally started airing. Production said they would notify the cast when it was out so I was patiently waiting, but one day I decided to check, and surprisingly there it was. It actually started airing a couple of weeks prior. The official title of the commercial is American Red Cross, ‘Disney Channel: Help Thousands of People.’
I play a young mom out for a stroll with her baby talking to another young mom. While chatting with one another the American Red Cross becomes the topic of the conversation. We talk about one of the ways the American Red Cross helps thousands of people each day. I’m grateful the weather was nice and sunny that day because my scene was shot outdoors. The commercial included other vignettes showing how the American Red Cross helps us not just in desperate times of need but in our daily lives as well.
